The AdC, established within the Presidency of the Region and functionally separate from the AdG, as well as functionally and hierarchically separate and independent from the AdA, fulfils the tasks set out in Article 126 of the RDC and bears primary responsibility for preparing and submitting to the CE:
- the certified periodic statements of expenditure, which must derive from reliable accounting systems, be accompanied by verifiable supporting documents, comply with EU and national rules, and meet accuracy requirements;
- the annual accounts, which must be accompanied by the AdG’s declaration and annual summary and by the AdA’s opinion and audit report.
