Who is the Beneficiary
The beneficiary is “a public or private body and—solely for the purposes of the FEASR and FEAMP regulations—a natural person, responsible for initiating and implementing operations. Under State-aid schemes, the beneficiary is the body that receives the aid; under financial instruments, it is the body that implements the financial instrument. For Public–Private Partnership operations, a beneficiary may be: (a) the public-law body that launched the operation; (b) a private-law body of a Member State (the ‘private partner’) that is or must be selected to carry out the operation.” The beneficiary is distinct from the final recipient and from the participant.
Attached is the list of beneficiaries of the PO FESR Sicilia 2014/2020, containing the information referred to in Article 115(2) of Regulation (EU) 1303/2013 on the projects implemented under the PO FESR 2014/20, as monitored in the SNM (National Monitoring System) administered by the State General Accounting Department (Ministry of Economy and Finance).
